Xcellente : Cameroonian artists need to totally unite
Ok ... so i was checking up on my favourite Kmer Celebs and i stumbled on this very interesting post on Xcellente's Facebook profile. The post was pretty long but below are the parts that caught my attention. He said:
" ... Now the only way forward is for the cameroonian artist to lay aside this killer amongst them called "empty pocket pride" and work as a team . I have been blessed to make a name in nigeria and cameroon so I believe am in the right position to better advice.
... Show business in nigeria can be best discribed as "scratch my back I scratch ya own" cameroonian artist need to totally unite. Asides from nigeria I have been to ivory coast and ghana and trust me its happening big for these guys cus they are united. Its an industry not a political campaign, every artist has his or her own space and fans. I don't really care if this makes sense to any artist out there afterall I have made my own share of the money and am still making more .unity is the only way forward for a struggling industry like cameroon. We are not campaigning we are building and we can only achieve through unity . Ok am off and will be in buea to lend my voice on a very talented female acts new single ft my humble self . And heyy I will be touring cameroon I hope I can do that with cameroonian acts but if not ric hassani , yemi alade, solidstar, iyanya, selebobo, teckno, will be with me live in 5 universities in cameroon. #peace. "
Well, i couldn't agree any less with Xcellente cuz he has been quite busy waving the Kmer flag in Naija and coming up with alot of Collabo's. Xcellente, i wish you the best in your career n i hope our Kmer "stars" will take your advice Seriously !!!
